It's the biggest day of your life ... and Shirley & Shawn Salon Day Spa wants to make sure everything comes together as beautiful as your dreams.  Proper planning of your hair and beauty needs today will ensure a wedding day you'll always remember.

Bridal Parties
For bridal parties of four or more, we request a $25.00 deposit per person at the time the appointments are made.  Deposits are refundable if appointments are cancelled 48 hours in advance.

We strongly suggest brides schedule a trial appointment for makeup and hair, with veil and/or hair accessories, at least three weeks before the wedding.  These appointments assure you'll have no surprises on your special day.

Wedding Day Planning
The following are suggestions for achieving the perfect look for your wedding day.

Three Months Before

• Begin a facial treatment program (every 4-6 weeks)
• Thinking of a style change? Now is the time to try something new before the big day.  You'll have plenty of time to get adjusted to your new style or redesign if necessary.

Two Months Before

• Enhance your nails with a manicure every other week
• Make bridal-day appointments for you and your bridesmaids and relatives

One Month Before

• Technical services - perm, color, and/or deep conditioning

Three to Four Weeks Before

• Haircut
• Trial up-do with veil and/or hair accessories
• Makeup lesson

Two Weeks Before

• Full set of nails (acrylic etc.)
• Facial
• Waxing (lips, brows, facial)
• Haircuts for men in wedding party

One Week Before

• Pedicure
• Waxing (underarm, legs, bikini, arms)

One to Two Days Before

• Nail fill or manicure
• Bridal Party manicures/fill

Wedding Day

• Makeup application
• Bridal up-do
• Bridal party hair styling and makeup application

Custom Headpieces
Headpieces are an intricate part of our bridal services.  First we meet with the bride for a pre-bridal consultation. Then after photographing and measuring her, a headpiece is designed to compliment the bride's facial features, gown and desired hairstyle. Our bridal team considers balance and bone structure when creating a headpiece.  The headpiece consultation is complimentary.

Hair
Once your bridal headpiece is purchased, one of our experienced hair designers will consult with you and design an hairstyle especially for you.  This pre-bridal consultation is complimentary. On your wedding day, let our bridal hair designer create a "picture perfect" look just for you.

Your customized hairstyle will last throughout your evening.  For the Mother of the Bride and Bridal Party, our bridal team will create the most flattering styles. And for the special "mother of the bride", whether it is a soft and natural look or a more high-fashion design, our team of experts will provide a most elegant look for your entire bridal party.

Makeup
Beginning with a color analysis, our expert make-up artist will advise you on color choices and application techniques for your wedding day. Brides will get a full explanation of exactly what to expect on your special day.  This pre-bridal consultation is complimentary.

We Recommend

• Identify yourself as a member of the bridal party when scheduling your appointments
• To alleviate last-minute problems, please schedule your appointments 6 weeks in advance
• Please provide day and night phone numbers with all wedding party appointments
• Please ask each member of the wedding party to confirm or cancel their own appointment 48 hours in advance
• Wear a button-down shirt for your wedding day appointment
• For chemically treated hair, avoid chlorinated water in hot tubs, swimming pools, and Jacuzzis
• Avoid the temptation to stay up late and avoid consumption of alcoholic beverages the night before the wedding.  This will help eliminate puffiness around eyes and face.
